people make messes…
we may have good intentions,
but they don’t last long.
we want perfection,
we want to meet all our goals…
and yet we’re human.
despite our efforts
to fight our human nature
we always fall short. (Romans 3:23)
this is depressing…
no matter how hard we try
we’re not good enough.
you can’t be happy
if you live under this cloud…
but I have good news!
God had the answer
before we asked the question…
His name is Jesus. (Romans 5:8)
God forgives messes,
if we’re covered by Jesus…
His grace is enough. (Ephesians 2:8,9)
sin will separate…
it is the pathway to death,
but God offers life. (Romans 6:23)
an abundant life,
although hard to imagine,
is full of blessings. (John 10:10)
(but don’t be greedy…
God’s blessings bring Him glory,
not build your kingdom). (John 15:7,8)
give your life to Him…
the rewards are for the now…
and for forever!

My dear girls,
Jesus didn’t come to make bad people good, but to make dead people alive! (Ephesians 2:4) Even if you were able to achieve perfection, you wouldn’t be truly happy. Only a relationship with Jesus brings true fulfillment…I know from experience.
