have you seen the Lord?
i know you’ve heard about Him,
but have you seen Him? (Job 42:5)
if you take the time
to stare into the Scriptures
you will see Him there. (Psalm 40:16 & 70:4)
you’ll see His strong arms…
they move mountains to rescue,
His biceps bulging. (Psalm 40:2)
you’ll see His shoulders…
broad, solid, and powerful,
He carries the world. (Psalm 68:19, Psalm 28:8)
you’ll see His big ‘But’…(Ephesians 2:4)
(that doesn’t really fit here,
it just makes me smile). ☺️
His hands are open…
He holds delicious morsels…
He wants to feed you. (Psalm 81:10,16)
He’s gazing at you
with eyes of love and passion…
He’s drawing your heart. (Psalm 27:8)
there’s so much more…
if you take the time to seek,
He’ll let you find Him. (Jeremiah 29:13)
