what is a father?
they do not all look the same…
so, what is their role?
he is a farmer…
planting and cultivating
life in his children.
he is a hunter…
chasing after his kid’s hearts
pursuing his wife.
he is a soldier…
he’s passionate to protect,
and fights for justice.
he is also strong…
able to channel his strength
for the underdog.
he works with his hands…
bringing something from nothing
he’s a provider.
he’s an explorer
fearlessly leading the way
deep into God’s Word.
on this Father’s Day,
i want to honor three dads…
God, my Dad, and Abe.
God’s my solid rock…
my Dad keeps on loving me…
Abe never gives up…
a dad is faithful…
even though the work is hard
and the years are long.
to all of the dads…
we need you, stay in the game,
keep up the good work!
