“That night the people of Israel left…there were about 600,000 men plus women and children.” Exodus 12:37

My dear girls,

Are there people that are watching you, following you?

Moses had quite a job. He was being followed by thousands of God’s slow, whining, rebellious kids. The Israelites looked to Moses for guidance, but they were really following God. “…your complaints are against the Lord, not against us,”  (Exodus 16:8). Although frustrating, Moses did his best work when his eyes were focused on God–and the Promised land. When he got bogged down by the complaining he got angry.

I’m teaching you, girls, to focus on and follow God by doing it myself. But it sure ain’t easy!

Pray with me, “Lord, I want to be a better role model to those around me of what godly living looks like. Give me Your wisdom. Amen.”

with love, Mom
