My dear girls,
Have you ever had to wait for something? In Genesis, chapters 6-8, we read of Noah building an ark and how he, his family, & all the animals are sustained on it for nearly a year—that’s a lot of waiting.
In Jesus’ day “everyone was expecting the Messiah to come soon,” (Luke3:15). Even John the Baptist was waiting to see what God would do next.
There is no point in rushing God—His timing is perfect. You & I must wait in humility. We were created to walk with Him, not to nag Him.
Pray with me, “Lord, please give me strength to wait with confidence. I do trust You—You know what You’re doing. Help me to keep my worried mouth shut and constantly give my concerns to you. Amen.”
